Approach to Fees

 

Our goal in the care process is to invest the time to truly listen, understand what you want from your health process, and sort out the underlying root issues behind your condition(s). Many of our patients are surprised that we allow sufficient time in our schedule to give you personalized service and time with the Doctor to truly listen, answer your questions, and help you understand your care process.

 

We desire to match the level of care, time spent with the Doctor and resulting fees to your desired level of care. Since the fee for the time with the Doctor is determined by the amount of time you request, you are in charge of the cost of your care process. Our fees are designed to cover the costs of delivering this specialized care. We charge for time with the Doctor whether in office or by telephone. If you desire more or less time, let us know so we can schedule to fit your individual needs.

 

Due to the complex nature of integrative medicine, which demands more lengthy and in-depth office visits than the standard 15-minute visit covered by most insurance plans, we are unable to offer direct insurance or Medicare billing; however, we will provide you with an insurance super-bill that you may send to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

 

The cost of laboratory work and any other additional, pertinent specialty testing is not included in the cost of the office visit. Most laboratories and radiology centers that we use do offer direct billing to your insurance company.

 

Payment is due at time of service by check or cash.
